Cab4Me – myTouch Apps
Cab4Me is a cab and taxi discovery app for the T-Mobile myTouch and Android. This app is particularly useful when you are traveling and are not well versed in the available cab and taxi companies in the area or their telephone numbers. Cab4Me automatically discovers your location with the built-in GPS, then finds cabs close to your area and presents you with a number of filtering criteria and the ability to call right from the app.
The app lets you filter based on available payment types, services offered (does it have wheelchair capabilities, etc.) as well as user ratings from other customers. Cab companies are checked out before being added to the Cab4Me database, so there’s a baseline level of quality with most of the cab companies listed in the app. This myTouch app also pulls in the number of available cars at any given moment, so you can pick a company that has a good chance of sending a cab your way quickly. An invaluable app while traveling.
