Locale
Locale is a brilliantly executed app for the T-Mobile myTouch and Android that does what it’s designed to do and gets out of the way. Locale is a highly customizable application that helps you customize various aspects of your phone based on location, time, and other parameters. For example, you could use Locale to turn your ringer off automatically when you walk into a library or movie theater. You could have it switch ringtones when you walk out of your office building. Similarly, you can change wallpapers based on the time of day or locations.
 
The interface is intuitive and easy-to-use. You can do pretty advanced stuff with multiple conditions for each setting. So you can have Locale remind you that your battery is low on charge, but only when you walk into your home. You can also have it switch between WiFi and cellular wireless based on how much battery charge is remaining. With its advanced customization options, this is one of the more sophisticated and useful apps for the T-Mobile myTouch.
