JOYity
JOYity is an interactive, location-aware gaming platform and game for the myTouch. One of the more fun and exciting myTouch apps, JOYity is an immersive game that is played in the real-world with the help of your GPS and Google Maps. In one of several variations of a game, you can play tag with others carrying a myTouch and playing at the same time. The app also lets you create riddles that offer clues when a friend walks into certain areas. Geocaching is another excellent game that this app lends itself to. You can create your own games with JOYity.Â
 
The app uses many of the features built into your myTouch really well: notifications during a game are unobtrusive yet useful and the app knows which way you’re going and so can use your phone like a radar to track and hunt down targets in games. YouCatch is one such game where your target is another player in your city. You play roles where one player tries to track and get within a certain range of the second player, who’s actively trying to move away. An immersive and wonderful game, with the bonus feature of being able to create your own games.
