Greed
Greed is a Google Reader RSS app for Android and the myTouch. This app is fully synchronized (two-way) with your Google Reader account, so changes made from your myTouch will show up even when you access Google Reader from a desktop later. You can mark articles as read, star them for later attention, organize feeds, and copy & email them from right within the app. You can also see your friends’ shared items. Formatting is excellent and the content flows and fits the app perfectly – you won’t need to tap around to zoom in like you may have to do if you’re accessing Google Reader through the browser.Â

Greed on the myTouch is pretty quick and syncing is smooth and usually done in a few seconds. You can customize notifications based on specific conditions – say the number of unread articles reaches a certain figure. The app also lets you open articles in your browser if you prefer. Greed has it’s own home screen widget and the paid version comes with offline caching as well. Podcast support and the ability to share through Twitter round of the list of features for this highly functional myTouch app.
